Agapè is a Greek word for love. It describes the type of unconditional love that God has for us. At Agapè we strive to provide an ecumenical Christian program that demonstrates this kind of love. Our philosophy is based on the acceptance of each child as he or she is. Our teaching techniques are aimed at building confidence, self-respect and responsibility through play and directed experiences. Our curriculum is based on the needs and interests of the children in each class. For more information or to register call Karen Humecke, Director at (630) 393—4205 or e-mail us at agape@cbc4me.com. Karen Humecke, Director and Teacher Karen Humecke is the Director of the Agapè Children’s Center and is also a teacher in the 3 and 4 year old classes.
